We present a forum for like minded people to discuss local and federal laws that banned marijuana in 1937. We encourage everyone to familiarize themselves with current legislation governing cannabis. We want people everywhere to know who their government representatives are on every level. We want to identify who our allies are in government. We want to reach out to those who are with us and those who are not. We need to educate ourselves in order to confront those in society who continue to be blinded by archaic laws because of ignorance and prejudice. We propose to eradicate the social stigma which a society of another era, placed upon any person indulging in cannabis. We will openly discuss and exchange ideas and voice opinions in an intelligent respectful manner.

Dear President Obama,

We the undersigned citizens of the United State of America, including our supporters around the world, request the abolishment of the prohibition of Cannabis as soon as it is legally possible.

Legalization would provide relief to patients seeking marijuana as an alternate medical choice. We also advocate marijuana for spiritual and recreational use.

Legalization would eliminate the criminal element and violence associated with drug cartels and organized crime syndicates.

Legalization would help stem the downward spiral of our economy and eliminate the unjust arrests and incarceration of countless of our citizens.

Marijuana can be taxed and provide needed revenue, the same as tobacco and alcohol, with the identical restrictions they currently have.

Upon becoming a legitimate commodity, the consumer can be offered a safer product for a reasonable price.
